What’s been happening:

After I graduated, I stayed in State College for about six months; I just had fun. I worked for the Philadelphia Health Department for three and a half years, and then went to West Chester University for a M.A. in biology. I joined Peace Corps and spent three and a half years in Ethiopia working on a rat control project. I used the data I had gathered for my master's thesis. Upon my return, I spent three and a half years in the Rat Control Project in Washington D.C. I went to Bowling Green University (in Ohio) for a Ph.D. My dissertation was on a statistical method of categorizing wear on Ethiopian rats' teeth in relation to their age. I spent one semester as an Assistant Professor at Montgomery (Maryland) College. In 1987 I joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Pesticide Program as a biologist doing Environmental Risk Evaluations, specializing in rodenticides. I'm getting ready to retire, but will probably continue working for a few more years. I'll probably stay where I am, but I'm considering returning to State College.
